That they sometimes only put out certain seasons of a show,instead of every season?

It's common that when a series is put out on DVD that sales numbers drop with each successive season. Sometimes they drop to the point that the studio can no longer make a profit so they stop releasing sets even if there are more seasons left unreleased. It usually comes done to money.
