Question Could Bette Midler & Jeff Goldblum Be Headed to 'Chuck?'
Chuck star Vik Sahay has revealed that he would like veteran actress Bette Midler to appear on the show.

Sahay suggested to UGO that the Hocus Pocus star would be ideal to play the mother of his character Lester.

"I always felt like... if we ever saw Lester's mother... it would be... Bettle Midler," he explained. "Somebody brassy and loud and crazy and overbearing. Not that she is, but she plays these [types of] characters."

The actor also revealed his ideal casting for the role of Lester's father.

"I imagine his father as...somebody like Jeff Goldblum," he said. "[Someone who is] kind of out there. And I also feel like those two characters [and] those actors could fit very well into the world of Chuck."
