In 2009, he quit his regular gig on "House" to go to the White House, where he spent a year as the Associate Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement for President Obama. Possible Show Title: Penn's the perfect host for a TV show that would cover the ever-intersecting world of politics and pop culture/Hollywood ... "A Harold & Kumar Political World"? Maybe not.
