In short: A nerd in his late 20s becomes the most important person for the US intelligence agencies, steadily becoming an actual spy and falls for his sexy handler.

What’s wrong with that? The overreactions to the show from avid fans sometimes put me off. I also must confess that most of the storylines are cheesy and dumb, and the acting is usually lacking.

Bad example: One episode in Season 3 featured guest-appearances from two Sopranos alumni, but the result was horrible and hard to watch. Looks like they were only expected to show up for shooting without actually acting.

What about a few good words? Adam Baldwin rocks, the show totally hits the right nerd/geek buttons and Yvonne Strahovski is gorgeous.
