Default Bea Arthur 'reached out' to Betty White?

Thought this was interesting and amusing, so I thought I'd share...

According to 'gossip columnist' Milke Walker, actress Betty White recently visited a Hollywood psychic with 'a friend of hers'. Betty's 'friend' says that actress Bea Arthur reached out to White during the reading, and asked her for 'forgiveness' of the on-going battles the two had here on earth. Betty had tears in her eyes, and said 'Yes!, Yes!' and asked Bea (via the psychic) to forgive her as well, to which Bea accepted. Betty is now happy that all of that is behind them now.

I somewhat believe this (I've been to psychics who have 'reached out to the other side' and what they said about the deceased person and my relationship with them, blew me away). I know there are frauds as well. I don't know anything about the medium who White went to, but if he/she was legit then this could be very true.

.....or if she actually went to a psychic at all. How do we know the whole thing is made up.

These gossip columnists are usually the first to break the news about celebrities - which the 'legit' media picks up months after.

Why would Betty ask for Bea's forgiveness? From what I understood, Betty never really knew why Bea felt so hostile towards her and neither did Rue McClanahan who said Bea never confided in her why she felt the way she did about Betty.

Unless Betty White talks about this or is asked about it in an interview, I'm not sure I'll believe it.

Default Betty & Bea

Gossip columnists and psychics. Yeah, I don't believe a word of it. Especially with no confirmation from Betty.

I also wish the rumors about a feud between Bea and Betty would go away. Rue McClanahan mentioned in her book that the two weren't enemies. There was never much tension on the set. Bea would get annoyed at times because Betty would break the fourth wall and interact with the audience when they messed up their lines. Bea was a master of the theatre for 40 years and Betty had done nothing but television for 30 something years so their experiences were quite different and they clashed. But not to the point of having a full out war. After the Golden Girls went off the air, I read that Bea and Betty became much closer friends. In fact, after Bea's death, it was Betty who wrote a short tribute to her in People Magazine.

That's exactly right! All these people have been trying to make a big deal, about nothing!!
