That's probably the episode in which Norman Tinker gives Tom the medallion he always wears, and it gets complicated from there. Dec. 23, 1970 -- "Gifts are for Giving," the 13th episode of Season 2.
(There's another ep in the series in which Norman gives Mrs. Livingston a necklace she notices he's wearing, and she gives him a gift in return. That episode continues with everyone being under the impression that Mrs. Livingston is interested romantically in Norman.) |

Warner Archive brings us 10 classic Warner Bros. series on DVD with 10 classic Christmas episodes on a 4-disc set in Classic TV Christmas Collection - available exclusively on WBShop.com! These DVDs are made on demand on Warner made to order DVD (on DVD-R’s). So if it is your wish, it is their command! All 10 episodes are being released on DVD for the very first time, as none of these episodes have ever been released on DVD before. This set includes also the DVD debuts of Dr. Kildare, The Courtship of Eddie’s Father, Eight is Enough, Suddenly Susan, and Veronica’s Closet. We also get Welcome Back Kotter, Alice, CHiPs, Perfect Strangers and Mama’s Family on this set. So we get something for everyone here, whether it is comedy or drama!
This holiday, settle in front of the TV with the California Highway Patrol, a Mypos immigrant and other wacky friends and co-workers in this wonderful 4-disc collection of vintage TV series Christmas episodes. The yuletide season doesn’t mean less work for Dr. Kildare and Dr. Gillespie and for Jon and Ponch of CHiPs. A prized medallion is passed around as a gift in The Courtship of Eddie’s Father. Menorahs, mistletoes and Balky Claus – festive traditions of all kinds are celebrated on Welcome Back, Kotter and Perfect Strangers. The season is nearly ruined twice: on Eight Is Enough the Bradford family’s presents are stolen and Alice gets stuck in a Christmas blizzard. Mama’s Family debates the fate of Mama’s present, a goose. Keep it as a pet or eat it? The staffs from Veronica’s Closet and Suddenly Susan find Christmas with their co-workers to be the most challenging time of the year. So gather ’round and savor this classic compilation filled overflowing with holiday spirit! Read our review by Pavan here: http://www.sitcomsonline.com/classic...dvdreview.html Please post any questions or comments about the set. |
