Ralph Kramden, a NY Yankee fan? (Part 6)

(The Texas Rangers beat the NY Yankees 8-0.)

(Ralph is upset. He is moping around in his apartment.)

Ralph: "Wow! Those Yankees really blew it Alice. They better win tomorrow night, or they will be facing elimination in game 5."

Alice: "I understand your worrying Ralph. I have a funny feeling though that your Yankees will win."

Ralph: "You do?"

Alice: "Yeah. Sometime next year."

Ralph: "Oh, you are asking for it Alice. You are ASKING for it."

Alice: "Ralph, if you ask me, I think that the Yankees will win tomorrow."

Ralph: "I guess that you are right."

(Ed comes down and blows his nose.)

Ed: "What a dark, dark day Ralph. Those Yankees got OWNED by the Rangers."

Ralph: "Well Norton, like I told Alice, I think that the Yankees will win tomorrow."

(Alice has a look of disgust on her face.)

Ed: "I don't know Ralph. Those Rangers look TOUGH."

Ralph: "So do the Yankees."

Ed: "You are right Ralph. I think that the Yankees will win."

Ralph: "You do?"

Ed: "Yeah. Sometime next season."

Ralph (yells): "GET OUT! GET OUT! GEEEEEEEEEEEET OUT!"

(Ed leaves.)

(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience applauds.)

Jackie: "Thank you. GOOD NIGHT!"

(Audience cheers.)
