What was the reason
That :1)In 1964 Universal did a movie called "Mc Hale's Navy" with Ernest Borgnine,Tim Conway,the late Joe Flynn,Bob Hastings,et al.in In 1965,Universal did the sequel-of sorts-called "McHale's Navy joins the Air Force.",and starred Tim Conway,the late Joe Flynn,Bob Hastings(but not Ernest Borgnine).Question:Why was Ernest Borgnine not in this sequel?And Question 2-)In 1964,the crew of the PT-73 (with the late Joe Flynn's Capt.Binghamton,of course)was transferred to Italy,and new cast members were added.Why was this?To freshen it up a bit?To beef up the shows ratings,or what?
