This was a very unusual and mildly amusing episode, that did NOT feature Bill Daily as Roger or the late Hayden Rorke as Dr.Bellows.How come this did NOT feature them? And 2 )was this the ONLY episode in which Daily and Rorke weren't in?Or were there others?

Yeah it was amauzing episode. Funny funny as well as I watched it too. I wonder why it didnt include Hayden or Bill as well. Im sure maybe because due to doing other shows or something. I would love to know this too. I believe there were others Daily missed. On IMDB it says he was not in all 139 episodes. Only 130 which mines he wasn't in 9 or 10 episodes. Not sure how accurate that is though and maybe someone else does know about this as Im curious to know as well, but yeah I believe he misseed/wasn't in a few episodes.

...was, in fact, the very first color episode to be filmed (just before the last black and white episode of season one, "I'll Never Forget What's-Her-Name"), in January 1966. Sidney Sheldon finally received "approval" to film the series in color, for season two, and filmed two color episodes at the tail end of season one as a "test" to see how the show would look like in full color [the other was "Jeannie Breaks the Bank"]: those episodes were "held" for season two. Ben Lane's make-up, however, was still designed for black and white filming; this is why Barbara's face looks a bit "cakey" at times (especially in the publicity photos taken during production). It was also the first time she wore Jeannie's "new and improved" harem outfit featured in the rest of the series {although viewers first saw it in "Happy Anniversary", the first "official" color episode to be telecast}.
This was also the first of a trilogy (the other two were filmed in the summer of 1966, before the remainder of the second season production schedule) where Jeannie took Tony on several "time-travel" journeys; at the same time, Sidney Sheldon satirized several movie genres- the "Western", the "Historical Costume Drama", and "Swashbuckling" epics, by putting Tony in the middle of the "event" (i.e. meeting Napoleon and Captain Kidd). These kind of episodes didn't require anyone else in the cast to appear in supporting roles, so that's why Roger and Dr. Bellows were "left out". There were previous episodes during the first season where Roger and/or Dr. Bellows didn't appear [Bill Daily wasn't featured in two episodes, while Hayden Rorke "missed" two] - once the series' "formula" had been established, however, they were usually featured in virtually every episode.
