Love is all around with the seventh (and final) season of The Mary Tyler Moore Show on DVD! Just when you thought she might not make it, she does make it after all, with 24 episodes of the Emmy Award-winning series. Mary Tyler Moore, of course, was a major hit for CBS in the 1970s, and brought Mary Tyler Moore to a new level of fame following her successful tenure on The Dick Van Dyke Show. This time, of course, she is all alone, except for her friends at work at TV station WJM. By this season, Rhoda and Phyllis are long gone, of course, having spun off into their own series, and the series focuses a lot more on her work life and co-workers, including boss Lou Grant (Ed Asner), anchorman Ted Baxter (Ted Knight), his wife Georgette (Georgia Engel), co-worker Murray (Gavin MacLeod), and of course the Happy Homemaker Sue Ann Nivens (Betty White).

At one point in the review it seems to indicate that you now can go back and purchase seasons 1-4 with the same packaging as seasons 5-7 if you so desire.
That's interesting...not that I personally really care about standardized packaging, but I've read about a few people that that matters to. |
