Director John Carpenter Suffers Seizure During Convention - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

One of my favourite filmmakers - and likely one of yours too - was rushed to hospital on Saturday after suffering a Seizure at a convention in Orlando.

John Carpenter, the director of such wondrous fright-flicks as "Halloween", "The Thing" and "Christine" (and a shout out to Jack Burton too!), ''suffered a seizure around 4:00 PM (ET) Saturday, October 9th, while taking a break from signing autographs'', Dread Central reports. "An ambulance was alerted, and Carpenter was taken away. Sources on the scene say the seizure was minor and John is not in serious condition."

Carpenter is expected to return to the convention to continue signing my autographs! Wow! what a trooper!

...Still, these things don't usually come out of nowhere so here's hoping JC is OK.
