She keeps getting cast in romantic comedies & they keep doing poorly at the box office. Movie studios would love her to be the next Meg Ryan, but her bad attitude behind the scenes may have hurt her film career.

Heigl's and Josh Duhamel's baby-on-board romantic-comedy, Life As We Know It, settled for second, with a $14.6 million debut, bigger than recent efforts from Jennifer Aniston and the American Idol-bound Jennifer Lopez, if slightly smaller than Heigl's own summer entry, Killers.

She's just the "it girl" of the moment playing the same role over and over. I'd be surprised if she ends up having much longevity. Though, I guess good for her making all this money by being just a middle-of-the-road talent.

I don't think it helped, but then again - I don't think her choice in scripts is exactly wonderful.
