I Dream of Jeannie (1965-1970)

Hollywood learned it's lesson when 'Bewitched' tanked at the box office in 2005, so it's unlikely it's sister show 'I Dream of Jeannie' would do much better even as a sitcom remake. But imagine how great it would be to have Robin Williams play Jeannie in drag.

Hope if it gets made, it would turn out great. Never seen the Bewitch remake, but also read some bad reviviews about the Bewitched one and heard it was a disaster, so hope the IDOJ one turns out great. Robin Williams as Jeannie in drag? Could be interesting if it were to happen!

yes the bewitched movie was terrible. one of nicole kidman's worst hope the jeannie remake will be better.

I have not sene the Bewitched Movie. I can't judge it. Some people enjoyed it and some people have not from what people are saying about the movie. I hope the jeannie remake will also end up being good, if they do it. No one can repleace Bill. Larry Or Barbara though, but I would be fine with a great cast depending on who plays who.

Only ONE person understood what the series was all about- Sidney Sheldon- and he died over three years ago.

If they do make an IDOJ movie I would suggest they cast Kristen Bell to play Jeannie.
