I don't think I would like a restaurant that spins. I would feel dizzy.Quote:

Revolving restaurants generally spin at a slow enough speed that you can't even feel it much less get dizzy from it. The only way you tell it's spinning at all is that the scenery outside the window changes.

No matter how slow it was spinning, I would still probably get a panic attack from being in one.

I've only been to one revolving restaurant, The Garden Grill located in Walt Disney World's EPCOT Center inside The Land pavilion. It's an indoor restaurant so you don't see outside but when you rotate past it, the restaurant opens up to the fake scenery that you see on the boatride. It was a farmhouse setting. I liked it, wasn't at all bothered by it. |

I remember going to a spinning restaurant on top of the Space Needle in Seattle. The movement was very slow - you could hardly notice it.

We had one of those Hyatts in Boston/Cambridge for years. Not sure if it's still there. Back in my single days, I went there with a date for dinner. I went to the ladies room, and I couldn't find my table when I went back into the dining room.
It was a first date too.
