Exactly 15 years ago today, O.J. Simpson, the once beloved football player/movie star/commercial spokesperson/sports commentator, turned criminal, was acquitted of all murder charges regarding his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ronald Goldman. A crime that to this day, he has shown no remorse, no regret for.
There was so much overwhelming evidence against O.J. to prove that he committed these heinous murders, such as his DNA that was found all over Nicole and Ron. It would be impossible to think that all of the evidence was “planted”, or that his son Jason might have done it. But sadly, the race card was played. It also doesn’t help that not all of the evidence was presented, such as his jailhouse confession to Rosie Grier. Fortunately for O.J., karma came back to bite him in the rear end, when, exactly 13 years to the day that he was acquitted, he was found guilty on all charges, this time for a completely different crime in a completely different city: Armed robbery/kidnapping at a Las Vegas hotel. O.J. claimed that he was just trying to get his stolen sports memorabilia back, but given what an astonishing egocentric and narcissistic liar and hypocrite he is, I doubt it. O.J. was given a 9 to 33 year sentence. He’s up for parole in 2017, and if you ask me, it’s highly doubtful that he’ll be pardoned. There’s the old Vegas saying that whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. And whatever O.J. did in Vegas shall no doubt stay with him there for the rest of his life, until the day he dies. And when that day finally comes, there’s no doubt about it: O.J. will finally go to hell. |

I remember that day so well. I was in class and watched the clock. Then I excused myself, snuck into the girls' room with my Walkman, turned the radio on while in a stall so I could hear the news first hand. Then I walked back in to class, and a little bit later I shared the tidbit I'd heard with everyone, and they all groaned.

This may come as a complete shock, but as a little kid, I used to believe that O.J. was innocent. Looking back on it now, I feel ashamed that I once believed in that.
I'm not exactly sure why I used to think that, but if I had to guess, I'd say that it's because at the time, I wasn't mature enough to understand the messy relationship that he had with Nicole Brown. I mean, geez, threatening to kill her if he saw here with another man? That's beyond chilling. Nowadays, of course, I'm aware of all of that. Christopher Darden, who was part of the prosecution team in the 1995 trial, said it best: "He killed her, because he couldn't have her. And if he couldn't have her, he didn't want anybody else to have her." If aynone still has doubts that O.J. could have done such a horrible thing, perhaps tracking down a copy of Outrage: The Five Reasons why O.J. Simpson Got Away with Murder by former Manson family prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi might change their minds. |

O.J. Simpson SHOULD get his Hall-of-Fame Trophy revoked and banned at the same time!
What Pete Rose did was gamble and since that's kinda legal in the Queen City...the MLB should pardon him and get his ass in the Baseball Hall-of-Fame. What ring of Hell do the Thieves and Murderers reside in? |

As a fan of the Naked Gun trilogy, here's one thing I've been wanting to know:
How did the cast and crew react when they heard that O.J. was charged with killing two people? |

![]() Speaking of the Naked Gun movies, too bad he couldn't have been punished like he was in the first movie: shot repeatedly, hitting his head on the pipe, burning his hand on the hot stove, getting his foot caught in the bear trap and falling overboard!! I couldn't stop laughing.

Someone on YouTube said that Leslie Nielsen went on record to say that he wouldn't work with O.J. again. If that's actually true that Nielsen said that, I don't blame him. That just makes him more awesome for speaking the truth.
Anyways, I think I've said everything I wanted to say about O.J., so I'll leave you now with some hilarious parodies of him, courtesy of Mad TV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umUXVRU_neM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Ey-SLHtiZ0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWNr6kWDRRo http://www.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/38678 The first two, in my opinion, are the funniest. |

Oh I remember that. I was in high school. It split the black and white students up. I remember the black students accusing the white students of racism because the white students believed OJ was guilty.
I don't care what color OJ is, I believe he is guilty. |

I don't think I'll ever get over that verdict. To this day, when they show the video of Simpson in court when the verdict was read, I have to look away. I hate the way he mouths, "Thank you".
