No doubt about it, WKRP turned out to be a very good ensemble sitcom. The entire cast really worked great together, I am just curious though, if the seductive Jennifer Marlowe aka Loni Anderson back in the show's original run made people tune in???

Well, let's put it this way. Her presence sure didn't hurt. But honestly, she didn't receive any more screen time than anybody else on the show unless the episode was centered around her so if you were tuning in just to lust after Loni, you really weren't getting a whole lot of time to do it.

She may have gotten some people to the trough, but the great ensemble and writing of the show made them drink.

People tuned in because they liked the show (when they could find it).

I liked Loni but at times I was more attracted to Jan Smithers (Bailey). Having both of them on there made it "must see TV" for me...!
