Confused Website Calls For A National (Betty) "White Out" Month...Do You Agree?

http://www.tv.com/the-most-annoying-...ory/24065.html

ENOUGH ALREADY! Ms. White is great and all, but we're tired of seeing her make a cameo on every freakin' TV show. We hereby proclaim this national White-Out month.

She's a legend. Betty rules. I want to see her on TBBT next as Sheldon's Memaw.

Exactly.
She would be funny as Sheldon's mamaw.

Wait 'till she's dead, then have the "White Out" Month! That would be more respectful....

But Betty White may live to be 100...or 90....

NO Way! Betty is an institution and I'm glad the country is recognizing that fact! I'd love to see Betty on Big Bang Theory, too!

That seems like a cruel campaign. If you don't love Betty White, turn the channel.

Actually, the overexposure she's getting will give her a "White Out" very soon.

People seem to forget that Betty White was never a popular star in her own right She only worked well as part of an ensemble.

Most celebrities would love to have that resume. Betty has been constantly on tv since the 1950's. Even the biggest stars who have dominated tv while starring in their own tv show have disappeared after their show went off the air. Not Betty...she keeps on ticking. She's in her 80's...what does she have to prove to anybody? She is a legend.

One could easily say the same of Carroll O'Connor, Mary Tyler Moore, Dick Van Dyke, Judd Hirsh, Howard Hessman, Bea Arthur, and many others. Good company to be in, I'd say, and hardly indicative of "lesser" stature. It takes a great deal of ego suppression and skill at your craft to be part of a team.

I realize we've seen a lot of Betty lately, but there's a LOT of celebrities I'd rather take a break from than her. She's always great.

I think the fact that Betty's 89 years old and is still that active is just amazing. The people who started this 'White out' nonsense are simply jealous.
