Better than watching George Raft redeem himself (unless you're watching Gunther Toody talk about George Raft redeeming himself, which is way better) !

Marvelous news. I haven't seen the series since its Nick-at-Night days. Stupidly, I didn't tape it back then, other than a couple of episodes. That was often a problem in deciding what to tape, not knowing which shows would disappear and seemingly never return, versus shows that managed to continue to circulate in reruns off and on for years to come.

In my opinion, Fred Gwynne and The Munsters is classic, Car 54 is not. So no Car 54 on DVD for me.

At last! I can finally watch this on dvd where it will hopefully be intact and unedited. I have about a dozen episodes taped from N@N over 20 years ago on a well worn VHS tape. I loved this show and will be eagerly awaiting it's arrival.

If you dont like the show then why comment on it???

There are several threads here about TV shows I detest, but I dont comment on them.

That's great news for the long awaited, Car 54. Never heard of the studio though.

Car 54 isn't my type of show as I'm not a Nat Hiken fan. Aside from that, in my opinion Fred Gwynne and Al Lewis are much funnier in The Munsters. But I'm glad for Car 54 fans that DVD's will be released. I know it's been a long wait for this series to come out.
