On "The Jeffersons",did George's Mother and Florence ever meet?

Did she ever talk back to George's mother,when she said something kinda mean about Louise?In other words,did she generally side with Louise when Louise and George's mother bickered?

Mother Jefferson and Florence met, but they really didn't many scenes together. There was never a situation where Florence was in a scene where Mother Jefferson put Louise down.

The first meeting was in the pilot. Florence is looking around the apartment and opens the shutters to the kitchen and says "And I see you got a cook too!"

Then, in the season two opener, Florence answers the door and takes Mother Jefferson's coat. Mother Jefferson says "Will you tell them I am here." To which Florence screams, "She's here!"

In "A Dinner for Harry" in season 2, they are in the same scene at the very beginning of the episode. Florence answers the door, and it's Mother Jefferson. She says, "Good evening, Florence. Will you tell them I'm here?" Then, Florence screams, "She's here!"

That doesn't count as a conversation. Florence answer the door, Mother jefferson came in and said tell them I'm here, shes here.

Well, they were often in scenes together and knew who the other was, but that was really as far as it went as far as interactions.

Yeah, I was almost going to say no. I thought maybe they brought in Florence after Zara Cully died since there are episodes with Mother Jefferson and no Florence at all!
