Tree house of Horror part 1
I was watching Friday the 13th part 1 the other day and thougt about the line were Bart says something like, "...like friday the 13th part 1, its tame by today's [1990] standards." I could not help but think, I wish I can say the same about the simpsons tree house of horror! I do love the simpsons, you know I do. But with the expection of last year, the last few halloween eps have not been all about horror. With storys such as ET go home, Mr. & Mrs. Simpson, the robot parody, BI: Bart Intelligence, and the one about jack the ripper. One has to wonder why cant they parody something scary? There are so many things that are scary they can make fun of, why just do anything because its popular? How about parody tales from the crept story, or a slasher movie. I know they did one or two slasher storys, but another one of these would be better then twlight. In short today's tree house of horror is tame by 1990 standards.
