Default Kim Vs. Craig

Based on watching Here's Lucy Seasons 1-3 DVDs....which Carter sibling is your favorite and why? This is just out of curiosity.

Personally, I'm jumping on the Craig bandwagon.

Definitely Craig. Desi Jr. was very funny and charming. Quite frankly, Lucie got on my last nerve.

I like them both but if I have to pick I'd say Craig. He was a little slicker than Kim - and smoother

I'm joining LucyandEthel and 70's show watcher on this one too. She rubs me the wrong way for some reason. The rest of the Here's Lucy cast are likeable. Desi Jr.'s Craig had a great presence onscreen and there seems to be a great chemistry between mother and son.

So far anyways it looks like sitcomonline Here's Lucy fans prefer Mr. Craig Carter!

Cool

Well let me buck the trend. Between the two I prefer Lucie. She sings and dances very well. And she has great chemistry in her scenes with Gale Gordon. I always look forward to scenes with Kim and Uncle Harry. And she's very cute too!!!

CRAIG....he played his character with an honest innocence and charm (watch his facial expressions)...he always seemed genuinely surprised when his mother would mess things up...his chemistry was great with both Lucy and Lucie. As the series progressed he also matured into an extremely handsome young man, who in his own right was also musically talented as both musician and singer. His comedic skills were also quite good...just watch "Lucy Helps Craig Get a Driver's License","Lucy & Ann-Margaret" and "Lucy The Shopping Expert" to name a few...where Gale Gordon stumbles through an explanation of the "Birds & Bees" to Craig which is hilarious. In the "The Lucy Book" Lucie states: "Desi's best comedy suit is his dry dry wit. At one point in "Lucy Sells Craig To Wayne Newton",the script had Mom saying something like, "Craig, play a little "Tea For Two" for us.He looks at her and said, "On The Drums?"...the way he said it...his dry delivery ...was priceless"." Its a shame that he did not stay with the series until the end as there was a definite void left after he left, similar to when Viv left The Lucy Show after the first 3 seasons. I think he is really good as a comedic actor.

I like both Kim and Craig. If either one is singing or dancing on an episode I am all for that

I wonder why they werent more popular hmmmm I guess because they were on tv people just took them for granted.

Actually, Desi Jr. was pretty popular at the time. He had a fairly decent run in the movies for several years. And he was constantly in the tabloids!

As for Lucie, I have to mention that one of my top two or three episodes of Here's Lucy is the very last episode, "Lucy Fights the System," and it's entirely because of Lucie Arnaz. I think she matured as a performer over the course of the series, and by that episode proved herself a very adept comedienne. I believe she would have been terrific doing Carol Burnett- or SNL-style sketch comedy.

I guess to me Lucie stood out more, since she was with the series for the full run. They are both talented and likable. I was surprised to read that Lucie or perhaps the character Kim, gets on peoples nerves and is considered annoying. It is interesting to read the comments and of course everyone has their own likes and dislikes.

I just don't know but when I watch a typical "Here's Lucy" episode and laugh along all is good and dandy!!!! THEN SHE comes onscreen spouting her lines and everything just goes downhill from there in my opinion.
