When this hospital-set sitcom began its run eight seasons prior, J.D. Dorian (Zach Braff) was a wet-behind-the-ears intern; here, he's a wet-behind-the-ears physician with a group of interns of his own to mentor.

In the ninth season, the laughs continue as Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) suffers an identity crisis and J.D.'s janitor nemesis (Neil Flynn) continues to taunt him in the oddly overwrought world of Sacred Heart Hospital.
