Unbelievable, I blew it, yesterday's 1:00 am and 1:30 am episode was what I captioned. I have been waiting for that episode for months, and what do I do when it airs on NAN, forget to tape it and on top of that fall asleep while it was airing. If I had just checked beforehand I would have known what to do before the episode aired. Now NAN is starting the episodes all over again and it will take forever before it airs again. So please I beg of anyone on this board if they have a copy of the episode I mentioned (parts 1 and 2), I'll do anything within reason to compensate you for the copy of the tape. I checked with Columbia House and I don't see it available to buy. Please I am desperate to have this episode, can someone help me immediately!

I have both parts of the episode on tape in their complete uncut versions, and I'd be happy to make a copy for you.
I can only record in PAL VHS format though, so I'm not sure if that is of any help to you. /Daniel Hofverberg Webmaster, Family Ties Home Page http://www.familyties.f2s.com |

I have seemed to have lost my shot at getting these episodes and the repliers in this thread either don't have it on tape anymore or are not getting back to me. Please tell me someone else on this board can copy the episodes for me and send me them on tape.

I wouldn't mind having a copy of those two episodes, too. Those are two of my favorite episodes. "dcarus", if anyone gets back to you on that tape, It would be much appreciated if you could e-mail with the info, too. Thanks.

Michael, I'd be happy to make a copy of the episode for you too, if you happen to have a VCR which can play PAL...

hofverberg,
One question... Is there anyway I can get a PAL tape here in America to check if it is compatible with any of my VCRs? If it is compatible, I'd be interested in buying A LOT of episodes... Thanks! (hopefully you can help)

Can someone please explain to me what a PAL is? I hear about it a lot, but I haven't figured out what it is.

I have posted this many times before, but okay - I'll do it again!
PAL is one of the three video formats for VHS videos in the world (the other two are NTSC and SECAM). To make a long story short: NTSC is the native format in North America (US/Canada/Mexico) and Japan. SECAM is the native format in France, Greece and a few other countries. PAL is the native format for pretty much all other countries in the world (most of Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, China and a number of other countries). Besides the native formats, some VCR's can also play one or more of the other formats - Such as most European VCR's being able to play both PAL, SECAM and NTSC (although only record in PAL). |

Well if my calculations are correct the two episodes I am trying to get will be airing on NAN 1:30 am March 12 (early 13th) and March 13th (early 14th) 1:00 am. So maybe I'll just wait until then and tape it for free. I'll be checking the NAN schedule just in case the current order of episodes change or skip as NAN has been known to do. If that happens I'll issue my plea again.

By the end of this week NAN will be airing episode 132 come 1:30am Sunday Night/Early Monday. They are skipping two episodes allowing They can't take that away from me to air even sooner than I expected. I'll continue to monitor NAN's notorious episode skipping so I'll be on top of exactly when They can't take that away from me will air. I can't wait to tape it!
