Default Here's Lucy DVD Ep. Intros - do you watch them?

Do you watch the introductions? I turn them on because often interesting facts or at least images will be shown.

I don't like the fact that the introductions don't have English subtitles!!! At least not for Seasons One and Two; I'm not sure about Season Three.

I think that the Introducing Lucy element cheapens the whole thing though. I think they can just go into introducing the episode without an "opening" LOL; we get an opening with the episode ;-)

Besides no subtitles, the audio is quieter during the introductions... if I turn it up, I have to immediately turn it down for the music of the opening theme!

I like them. They have quite a few introductions with people other than Lucie and Desi Jr., which are very nostalgic. Art Linkletter even did one of them.

Cool

I enjoy the introductions very much. It's neat to hear details about the episode from someone who was there when the episode was taped. I haven't noticed any of the audio issues that sebastianc65 mentioned. I do agree that the opening for the introductions is overkill.

Yes cute little intros. I have to say I enjoyed Lucie Arnaz's intros. She seems to enjoy talking about the episodes. She's practically in a majority of the intros. Desi Jr. not so much.

It would have been nice if Desi Jr. would have done more of the intros in the first three seasons since they were the only seasons in which he was a regular on the show.

I wonder why he didn't do more? There were some episodes that focused on his Craig character that he could have done intros for.

...and I wonder if he'll continue to be in the intros for seasons 4-6, since he left the show after season 3. He only returns in a guest appearence, once, Lucy & Joe Namath in the 5th season.

If it is a guest actor from that episode doing it. I will watch if Desi Jr. does it but that is it.
