Lifetime Renews "Drop Dead Diva"
Sept 23, 2010 by Kate Stanhope Lifetime has renewed "Drop Dead Diva". "Drop Dead Diva", starring Brooke Elliot as a model who dies in an accident and comes back as a plus-sized lawyer, will return for a thirteen episode 3rd season in 2011. "'Drop Dead Diva' has led Lifetime's charge in scripted programming and is a key component to our success," Lifetime Networks President Nancy Dubuc said in announcing the renewals Thursday. "We are so happy with this special program and are excited to pick it up for a new season, which allows us to launch our next generation of scripted series." The series has performed strongly for Lifetime earlier this year.
