These are your "American Idol" judges: Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler.

Host Ryan Seacrest announced the news in a press conference that streamed live at americanidol.com.

He also tweeted it:

"It's official: your new #IdolJudges panel is @yo_randyjackson, @JLo & Steven Tyler! RT!"

Like J-Lo or Steven Tyler is ever going to lay into anyone, to really criticize.

Not saying to be an allout bastard like Simon could be, but someone who would say, "well sorry that sucked. It is what it is."

Neither of those 2 would ever risk coming off as mean or a jerk or too critical.
Don't you think J-Lo isn't going to avoid doing anything so not to be labeled a "bitch"? (think she's heard that before)

Having one of those two as judges, fine.
Both- just kinda silly.

without simon cowell this show is going to tank badly in the ratings. as far as i and many others would see it, this up and coming season of idol is going to be the last one ever.
