Anybody notice Margaret Cho tripping on the steps when the cast was introduced at the opening of the show? One can only hope she can dance better than she walks!

...as well as she survived "ALL AMERICAN GIRL" 15 years ago. No, I take that back- she didn't, 15 years ago. ABC forced her into starring in a bland situation comedy she had no control over. When it ended after one season (amid constant changes in cast and storyline), she almost lost her sanity as well; she couldn't take the stress {she was also forced to lose weight because network executives didn't like her "rounded face"}, turning to drugs and alcohol. It took her years to recover.

I don't see why she'd appear again on a network that literally screwed up her life. Does she need the money and publicity that bad?

Actually I have the series set of All American Girl and enjoyed it. I didn't know the back story of how she was treated. I really like her.

Her dance performance turned out to be rather bizarre, purposely screwing up the end. I don't think the judges knew what to make of it. She did pretty well up to the end, though. Hope she survives the elimination.
