That was the first British number one song in the U.S in the summer of 1962.

"Telstar" by the Tornadoes was second at the end of the year.

The Caravelles "You Dont Have to Be A Baby To Cry" by a British female duo made the top 5 at the end of 1963.

And two more:1)Frank Ifield in 1962 did "I Remember You"and that went to #5.And 2)Lonnie Donegan and his skiffle group had the #5 peppy novelty hit "Does Your Chewing Gum Lose its'flavor on the Bedpost Over Night(When your Mother Says To Chew it Do You Swallow it in Spite"...)Bonus question:No prizes,just fun again.In 1956(yes,1956)Lonnie Donegan and his skiffle group had a #8 hit with what song?

Give Up?This was a HARD one.Lonnie Donegan and his Skiffle Group in 1956 had a #8 hit with the song "Rock Island Line".
