WB owns the series and they don't look too interested.

I like Mayberry R.F.D. much more than Andy Griffith. I would probably buy Mayberry R.F.D. if it comes out on DVD. Pretty good show, and Arlene Golonka is very cute.

I would LOVE to see this one on DVD and would snap it up in a heartbeat, provided it was a quality issue with unedited episodes.

I got my complete set on iOffer.com so it will hold me over until they decide to release the series.

They should have included the first episode of R.F.D. on the final AGS release, because of Andy & Helen's wedding and Barney is back, to be Andy's best man. This pretty much served as The Andy Griffith Show Finale.

Count me in, too!
TV Land showed an episode of Mayberry, RFD this morning, and I got so excited--until I found out it was just the last episode of The Andy Griffith Show which served as the pilot to Mayberry.

I watched it when it was on and thought it was pretty good, but not as good as TAGS. I might buy it at 10 to 12 dollars a season. But the few times I've seen it in reruns, i was disappointed. I like the characters, Berry's a good actor (and very good on Mama's Family), but in this the show really misses Andy. Or maybe the writing was weaker. I watched an episode on Youtube and still thought the same thing. It's like AfterMASH.
