Neil Patrick Harris Admits HIMYM Was Just Doing Shows to Make it to Syndication
Neil Patrick Harris has suggested that there will be more story arcs in the new season of How I Met Your Mother.
The actor, who plays Barney, told Entertainment Tonight that the show will return to having longer plots. "Last year, How I Met Your Mother was a bunch of standalone episodes," he explained. "We're filling out our syndication quota - now we're going to be on every day on some channels - so we wanted to hark back to bigger storylines with the characters." He continued: "I think it'll be a fun season to watch because once you invest in the beginning of it, it'll pay off by the end."
