Cool Former 'Charlies Angels' in Talks to Reunite in New TV Series

http://www.usatoday.com/life/people/...yn-smith_N.htm

Despite her wig and clothing ventures, she's still acting. There was her dramatic guest spot on last season's Law & Order: SVU, and she's now in talks with a new series that would also star Charlie's Angels alumn Cheryl Ladd. Smith, a mother of two, admits it was sometimes challenging to fit in acting while raising her now twenty-something children. Most recently, she spent time back in her native Houston following her mother's death. "I had to turn down some roles," says Smith. "I can do my business anywhere: take a meeting or video conference, but you can't do that for a role."

For that reason, she's already lined up her next business venture: a skin care line. She resisted the skin care realm for years, but took the plunge with help from her husband, a pediatric heart surgeon. "He understands the chemistry," she says. "He's been analyzing what I like to use."

Clearly, the onetime "Breck Girl" has aged well. Her secrets? "I don't drink I don't smoke, I never touched a drug," says Smith. "I don't want to sound like I'm from a Disneyland fairy tale, but I think it has a lot to do with what goes on inside. ...You have to be good to your own self."

Somewhat off topic, but did you ever get to see Cheryl's 2006 Hallmark movie, Though None Go With Me? If not, you'd definitely love it!!

No. I haven't gotten a chance to see it yet. I really need to try and see it. It sounds like a great movie.

It's terrific. Cheryl does a great job as the matriarch of an unconventional family. Bruce Weitz (Hill Street Blues) also does a great job in the film.
