September 14th, 1962 - The third season of "The Flintstones" began. The first show of the season was the first to be broadcast in color. All previous episodes (the first two seasons) had been filmed in color but had been broadcast in black and white.

Ah, but you have a Season 6 episode clip (you can tell because it's Eppy Brianstone-the stoneage Brian Epstein-from the season's debut "No Biz Like Show Biz"-"So, Open up your heart And Let the Sun.......shine...in..-Let the sunshyine in"-Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm).

. And of course, season three saw the permanent visual/song open for the Flintstones and Pebbles and Bamm Bamm's debut.
