Exclamation "The Twilight Zone" Season One Blu-ray Release Sept. 14th

In 1959, a ground-breaking television series premiered – investigating the futuristic, the telepathic, the cryptic, and the metaphysical: "The Twilight Zone".

Every week, Rod Serling’s masterwork of “fear noir” took viewers from the safety of their living rooms on amazing journeys of fantasy and imagination.

On September 14th, Image Entertainment will release the complete first season of "The Twilight Zone", fully remastered for Blu-ray.

All new 1080p high-definition transfers have been created from the original camera negatives, as well as uncompressed PCM audio, remastered from the original magnetic soundtracks.

In addition, the set includes new and exclusive bonus features not available anywhere else, including the rarely seen, never-before-released unofficial pilot “The Time Element,” written by Rod Serling and hosted by Desi Arnaz – the episode that started a cultural phenomenon – presented in glorious high definition!

Just got the set in the mail. Cant wait to start watching. Just hope this is the last time I buy this show. Lost track of how many times I double dipped with The original Twilight Zone series. I always did love the show. I remember when I was little one of the local TV stations use to air this show every night. Yeah they aired it back to back with the 80's series The New Twilight Zone. Liked the 80's series. But not as well as the original.
