High school Spanish teacher Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) agrees to take over the school's glee club, New Directions, whose misfit members are eager to reverse the group's reputation as the worst in the country.

The club must win at sectionals in order to stay alive but they have to defeat their archrivals -- and uber-talented -- Vocal Adrenaline.

Meanwhile, cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester (Emmy winner Jane Lynch) plots to blot them off the face of the school.
