no. Ann & Donald never got married because Marlo wouldn't hear of it. I think I read somewhere that she thought the show wouldn't be very funny anymore if they did.

...that she never intended to film an episode where Ann Marie and Don Hollinger marry each other. She only went as far as their being engaged during the final season, but that was it. It was a decision that was also based in part on the value of future daytime and syndicated repeats. Apparently, Marlo felt that, if Ann Marie was to marry Don at the end of the series, very few people would stick around to see the beginning of the repeat cycle when she was suddenly "single" again...

In one of the DVDs' featurettes, Marlo stated that she didn't want marriage to be Ann Marie's big goal in life. She wanted the show to be more about women being independence and having careers.
