Default Official Season 4 Cover Art, Release Date and more.........

http://tvshowsondvd.com/news/Boy-Mee...Season-4/14398

Fans have been waiting since 2005 for Boy Meets World - Season 4 on DVD, when ABC/Disney announced the title for release, then quickly canceled those plans. In 2008 Lionsgate licensed the DVD rights to this show (along with others) from ABC/Disney, and just last week they re-released Seasons 1, 2 and 3 as individual box sets.

What about Season 4? Back at the end of July we passed along word from the Lionsgate Media account on Twitter that fans should "keep an eye out within the next 6-8 months"...we calculated that to mean "early 2011". Well, that turns out to be the wrong timeframe , because today Lionsgate informed retailers that Boy Meets World - Season 4 will be available even earlier than that!

Our retailer contacts inform us that Lionsgate Entertainment has put Boy Meets World - Season 4 for DVD on the schedule in time for the holidays, with a long-awaited street date of December 7th! You'll get a 3-disc set with 22 episodes starring Ben Savage, Rider Strong, Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle, and William Daniels, running approximately 600 minutes long. Package art provided by Lionsgate is shown below, and as you can see (and, as we expected!) it turns out to be the same cover art design that ABC/Disney was planning to use five years ago. Video is listed as full frame, and audio is expected to be in English 2.0 Dolby Digital. The closed captioning logo can be spotted on the spine of the box, as shown below, so we presume that it's included as well.

Cost is a mere $29.98 SRP, so buying this won't burn a hole in your wallet, either! Want to know something else? Our retailer friends who've passed all of this info on to us also mention that this release will be celebrated with plans for some TV appearances and reunions with the cast members, so keep an eye out on the talk shows and morning news programs for that sort of thing!

I'm gonna wait till they, hopefully, release a complete series set.

I got screwed with other shows buying season after season. Then a big, nice complete series package comes out and I'm like ughh why didn't I just wait for that.

I wouldn't do that DS. It's unlikely that Lions Gate will release a complete series set. As far as I know, they don't do that. Plus, we've already waited 5 long years to get this baby. Aren't you desperate to get your hands on it? And the better it sells, the more likely LG is to crank out the other 3 seasons real quick.

Thank god the wait is almost over. This is seriously the longest break inbetween releases that I've ever seen for a show.

Now if they could just get that other show starring a Savage brother on DVD; The Wonder Years. I could die a happy man then. But sadly the bloody music is likely to ever keep that beloved show from getting an official DVD release.

Oh, okay. I didn't know they didn't do complete release and yeah I realize the more people buy the more likely they'll release the next season. I'll buy them

Wonder Years is a lost cause but I would just download the complete series off torrents then burn them. You don't need to feel guilty like it's illegal because they're not DVD rips but just from ABC Family so it's as if you recorded it off TV basically in my opinion. I don't really condone the downloading and burning of DVD rips because you could ACTUALLY buy those ahah

Default Is Disney Releasing Season 4 Too?

I was looking over at tvshowsondvd and I saw that on the "Boy Meets World" page they have Season 4 listed twice.

The other is a release from Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment and the release date is TBA at the moment.

Here is the link: http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/releases...-Season-4/5299

Shouldn't be, cause Lionsgate has the rights now.

I'm wondering if that's the old link. Season 4 originally was supposed to be released a few years ago, they had the cover art and everything
