Audio Restored: April 26, 1989 Entertainment Tonight
For those of you who might have attempted to see this show on Youtube, only to find the audio missing from part three, I have good news: the audio has been restored. The reason it was missing is that WMG had claimed copyright infringement because of the use of the song "Be a Clown" in part of the clip. But now they have restored the audio, and added a link to a site where you can purchase the song from them. (Why didn't they realize this promotion potential before?) In any case, this is a very special show, and now you can see it and hear it in its entirety. It was broadcast the evening of the day Lucille Ball died and I think may be the only time Entertainment Tonight ever devoted its entire broadcast to covering a celebrity death (though Michael Jackson could be an exception; I don't know). But it was a very well done tribute. Here are the links:
