In the founder's day episode,Jim Tyler and his wife,Helen always says it about himself. and in Bonanza,Ben calls Adam,Bull of the Woods. what does it mean?

It means that he is as strong as an ox... er, a bull.

And that he is good with an axe. Knocking down trees. You know, like a bull would be with knocking stuff down and breaking stuff(if they were really irritated), because bulls are strong.
