Bear Manor Media Releasing Updated "The Lucy Book" - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

On the Bear Manor Media website they have a "coming soon" listing for an updated 10th anniversary edition of Geoffrey Fidelman's excellent The Lucy Book. While the cover art shown is very small, I was able to read the bar at the bottom that says "10th anniversdary edition, revised and expanded." The link for the book is here ...

i wonder what could be updated and revised??......maybe the dvd releases?

Possibly. I also know that Lucy and Desi appeared on The Jackie Gleason Show in January 1957 on a salute to Eddie Cantor that was not documented in the original printing of the book. So I'm sure little things like that that have been discovered will be mentioned and added to the newest addition, as well as maybe appearances of clips in shows since the book was published? ILL's 50th Anniversary special, too?

When it's released I'll be getting the updated edition. Not so much because of any new information that may be included, but because my old edition is just about ready to fall apart! I've been looking at some of the website to possibly buy a new copy, but when I found out that an updated version will be released sometime in the future, I'll just hold off for that one to come out.
