I'm actually suprised at how little discussion this case seems to get considering the disturbing nature of this case.
This person would make devices that would shoot bullets when opened. One woman was killed by this package and several other people that received them were seriously injured and probably only survived because they opened them at a different angle than the person that sent them expected them to. This guy mailed these rigged packages to various people in the 80's and later struck again in the 90's. This person has never been caught and could be anybody. It could be a teenager, woman, senior citizen or any other type of person you'd least suspect. Maybe the lack of suspects is part of the reason this case isn't discussed. I'm really hoping that someday this person will feel guilty and turn themselves in because I think that is one of the only ways this case will get solved. I still remember the part in the segment where the grandparents opened that package with their grandchildren and then it exploded hitting them each with bullets. Luckily they survived, but it still creeped me out. Anyone else have any thoughts on this case. |

Here's a link to a recent story about this:
http://www.nydailynews.com/archives/...o_zip_gun.html To me, this sounds like several different individuals did this and perhaps that the later "bombings" had nothing to do w/ the earlier ones. |
