Correct me if I'm wrong, but most cable networks keep the same schedule for several months right? Because on SitcomsOnline when you post the schedules of other networks it usually says Fall Schedule or Spring Schedule. Whereas TV Land changes their schedule every month. How do they expect viewers to get acquainted to a certain show/timeslot if the schedule changes so frequently?

This is a guess but I have a feeling TV Land wants to change its format to get more younger people to watch however rather doing a total format change like when the old TNN became Spike TV, Viacom is doing the "lets make a few changes here and there" thing such as changing the line-up quite often and dropping some shows from their website. The purpose? To get you mad to the point you will go somewhere else while they make more changes to become a new channel and/or to reach the group of people who they really want to reach. This sort of thing happens a lot in radio. Recently in my hometown we had a country music station who switched to top 40. Rather than a total switch they were mixing in disco tunes from Saturday Night Fever into their soon to be defunct country format in an effort to drive their listeners away to other radio stations before the total flip to top 40. It worked for them. |

Also, The CW doesn't air Everybody Loves Raymond everywhere in the U.S., just in some cities. Your local channel is the one airing that. |
