It's nice to see Hallmark dumping the traditional movie weekend this week for sitcoms. Now if they would just do a full day of Touched by an Angel, it hasn't aired on weekends since I got the channel.

I sure hope Who's The Boss? does well in its evening spot.

It's too bad M*A*S*H is not on the schedule. Does Who's the Boss? really get better ratings than M*A*S*H?

Also, if Martha's ratings are not as good as the sitcoms, any chance her block will be reduced?

It's not bad, but could they not sacrifice some Golden Girls or Cheers for Lucy? That's stupid. Lucy 8-10am would have been much better or even 1-3am.

I can't believe Who's The Boss? gets decent enough ratings to air from 6-8pm. Golden Girls didn't even do well then.

Is Little House expiring? Hopefully GMC or another channel will acquire it.

Little House was never expiring. See the blog, it is just resting.

Good...so that means Hallmark has full rights then, correct? No more shared deal with TV Land.

I would do this....

8:00AM-9:00AM I Love Lucy
9:00AM-10:00AM The Golden Girls
10:00AM-6:00PM Lifestyle/Martha
6:00PM-8:00PM Who's The Boss
8:00PM Touched By An Angel
9:00PM-11:00PM Movie
11:00PM-1:00AM Touched By An Angel
1:00AM-2:00AM I Love Lucy
2:00AM-4:00AM Cheers

then air Little House on weekend mornings, perhaps. There is no reason to not fit Lucy in during the week...3 hours of Cheers is too much anyway.

Very cool to see Who's the Boss? still on the lineup. It must be doing really well for the network to keep it on for 2 hours in the evening, even though its been on for 2 hours all summer long. I Love Lucy getting the weekend boot is no surprise, but 4 hours of Golden Girls is a bit excessive. All this Martha really sucks, in the long run, and hopefully some of these hours will be cut in the future.

Schedule change:

Effective Tuesday, September 7, 2010
Weekdays
8:00pm Little House on the Prairie (replaces Touched by an Angel)

Also, Cheers marathon on Sept. 4 has been replaced by Little House.

Wow! That was fast. Great change! Glad they can air Little House at night now!
Touched will be off the line-up entirely, then.

I agree, 4 hours of The Golden Girls is too much and 3 hours of Cheers in a row is too much. There is no reason to not fit TBAA and Lucy in there somewhere, even at 3 or 4am. At least Lucy will still be airing, but it deserves more airtime.

I think it will be refreshing to see Little House in primetime. Considering that GG only has 7 seasons of shows, it cycles pretty fast with this kind of scheduling. They should at least pick up Golden Palace to give the cycle at least 22 more episodes to run in the rotation.

I can't believe Hallmark can't fit Touched in there somewhere. Seems like even an 11am or 1am slot would be better than nothing.

Julie, remember this is Hallmark.....we can probably all agree that this schedule will see some sort of shakeup by October!
