Is this sort of thing out now or do I have to wait until 2017?
"Hooking my blackberry up to my laptop and when someone calls me it will send a alert on the screen of my laptop saying that someone is calling if I have the ringer off or listening to music on my headphones?"

They come up with the strangest things. My friend Keisha told me a few months ago that she was "checking her tv to see who called." I thought she had lost her mind, lol, but apparently some phone companies have this feature. I don't know how it works though.

^ Yep Time Warner Cable has Caller ID on TV. I have the digital phone from TWC and it's a free service with the digital phone
