What exactly was his relationship with Unsolved Mysteries at the time the original Morgan segment aired? It mentions in the Devereux "Investigators" segment that Devereux had been chasing leads following the airing of the Morgan segment, but there was no elaboration given.

I believe that Don Devereaux was a journalist investigating government corruption and conspiracies. I don't know if he was involved with UM per say but he was interviewed in the Charles Morgan story.

Some time later, a man who lived or worked close to Devereaux was killed and UM profiled that case because Devereaux believed the bullet was meant for him. Apparently, his research into Morgan's death and possible CIA connections may have put his life in danger.

Devereaux may have also appeared in the Danny Casalaro segment and possibly others, although I am not certain.
