How funny in your own opinion is Gilliagan's Island. Do You find it laugh out loud funny or just enjoy the cheesiness that the show was?

I have to say even as a kid I don't remember laughing out loud at this show very often, more often than not kind of smiling. I loved the characters and the goofy situations they got into but it was and is pretty much "comfort TV" for me.
