Confused Why Isn't William Shatner Getting As Much Attention As Betty White?!?

Sure, Betty White is red hot right now. Heck, she is hotter than Cleveland! () I am just curious why the former Captain Kirk isn't getting the praise that Ms. White has been getting after staging her comeback.

I guess what I mean is, William Shatner has "quietly" been on a red hot role as of late. He has so many irons in the fire right now with his own talk show, movies, comercials & now his very own sitcom! So where is the love for Bill?!?

Critics have been really critical of his new show but I wouldn't count it out. It's airing between TBBT and CSI. It would have to be really bad to fail. If it's a hit, I'm sure Bill will get his due. Maybe Betty will guest star on his show.

Cool

If Shatner is still working regularly when he is 88 years old I'm sure he'll get his due!!

I think it's due largely in part that William Shatner has been working consistantly recently; Boston Legal finished its run just 3 years ago, and Shatner has been doing his multiple talk shows and etc.

Betty White had been doing only small guest appearance, nothing substantial like Shatner has had, so I feel like Betty had more of a "return" to TV, while Shatner never quite left.

my theory is that while people may enjoy the shows that shatner stars in he does not come across as a warm loveable guy in intertviews or with fans ether and the people seem to sense this where betty has a very warm persona gives great interviews and by all accounts is nice to almost everyone in short people like betty period , shatner people dont really like him just captian kirk denny lane etc.

The last Shatner show I watched was TJ Hooker. lol I haven't liked a whole lot of shows that he's been in. I liked Star Trek when I was a kid but I grew out of that. I was more into Lost in Space anyway. I'll give his new show a try though.
