ABC took over the rights to the Charlie Brown TV specials in 2001. Titles include "A Charlie Brown Christmas," "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" and "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown."

The holiday specials continue to be viewer faves. Last year, the umpteenth rerun of "A Charlie Brown Christmas" -- it debuted on CBS in 1965, but some years it has run twice -- attracted more than 11 million viewers. About 1 million of them fell into the MTV sweet spot, age-wise. Among kids between the ages of 2 and 11 -- a.k.a. MTV's farm team -- "A Charlie Brown Christmas" topped the combined delivery of CBS, Fox, NBC and CW by 42 percent last December.

i liked the christmas one and "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. my mom didn't care to much for grea pumpkin. i think its funny.

It's great! The original CBS "Charlie Brown "Specials from the 1960's "A Charlie Brown Christmas","It's the Great Pumpkin,Charlie Brown",(evergreens /well-remembered ,for sure)and these others from the 1960's "You're in Love ,Charlie Brown ","He's Your Dog,Charlie Brown",and "Charlie Brown's All-Stars"(remember these?),and from the 1970's "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving"are all evergreens/well remembered shows,and it's nice that ABC has seen fit to save and air them..
