Minnesota has sold themselves out. They had 3 players go to Favre's place and drag his butt back to Minnesota. They have no pride. Maybe if they went out and found a good young Qb, they wouldn't have to do this. lol

I saw that, too. I remember last year it was August 18 when he formally signed to play with the Vikings, which gives me a bad feeling he's going to play yet ANOTHER season for the Packers' main rival!

Here's a column for Dan Wetzel: http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_yl...rereturn081710

It says that whether he'd play was never in doubt--is he a Viking apologist?

Question

Hey, what happened to Brett's ankle that was hurt (or was it BROKEN?) in the Saints game? He was supposed to see a doctor about it!

I'm sure the Vikes would have been so prideful of a .500 season with Sage Rosenfels/Tarvaris Jackson. Yep, who needs Super Bowl glory when you've got pride!

Besides, if Romo was ever contemplating whether to come back or not, you'd approve of some Cowboy teammates convincing him to return.

Well according To Soloman , Sage Rosenfels is the man. They put themselves in this by having awful backups. They haven't even tried to upgrade the QB position besides playing Farve's game. Why didn't they make a play for McNabb? The coach is a wimp. Farve is the only reason he still has a job. And if Romo ever tried to play this game with the Cowboys, I'd turn on him so fast. Football is a team sport and you don't treat your teammates like this. Heck If he wants to retire then retire but stop playing these games.

Favre is a self absorbed jackass and his reputation is forever tarnished by these last few years.

Waiting around for a player's decision is asine also - the Vikings look silly.
Favre is not that good, and he's not the future.
He's the barely present.

The Vikings should have looked to rectify the QB position and moved ahead.
