Good Goobily Goop! Was Whitman Mayo So BAD As An Actor That He Was Actually Good?!?
I have been watching some 'Grady' episodes of Sanford & Son and all I can say is wow! Whitman Mayo was pretty bad as an actor. Whenever he would interact with another character, you could see him mouth the words they were going to say. This happened about 100% of the time. lol
With that said though, I just couldn't get enough of Grady. lol He was hysterical in so many different ways. Anybody agree or disagree with me??? |

I never noticed that about Grady moving his mouth. I'll have to rewatch some of the Grady eps.
I don't know if Whitman Mayo was just acting like himself or acting like Grady, but I always enjoyed the character. He also had some great lines. I think it was the Masquerade Party ep when Grady commented that Lamont was a very good dancer.

Grady was one of my favorite actors on Sanford and Son. He was one of the funniest.
