An NBC premiere date has not yet been announced. The football drama wrapped production on the 13-episode Season 5 in Texas this summer — shortly after stars Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton earned their first Emmy nominations for lead actor and lead actress in a drama series, respectively. NBC saved the critically acclaimed but ratings-challenged series from cancellation in 2008 when it struck a deal to air new episodes first on DirecTV.
